Question Cannot remove cvsnt package on Ubuntu (Breezy)

As part of the installation process for KDE, apt-get wants to remove the package "cvsnt"; however the removal is failing with the following output:

Removing cvsnt ...
Stopping CVSNT Lock Server Daemon: invoke-rc.d: initscript cvsnt, action "stop" failed.
dpkg: error processing cvsnt (--remove):
subprocess pre-removal script returned error exit status 1
Starting CVSNT Lock Server Daemon: cvslockd.
Errors were encountered while processing:
cvsnt
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)

If I run "cvslockd -d" I get this output (note the segfault at the end):

Could not open /etc/cvsnt/PServer
Initialising socket...
Starting lock server on port 2402/tcp...
Could not open /etc/cvsnt/PServer
Could not open /etc/cvsnt/PServer
Using default mdns Responder
Could not open /etc/cvsnt/PServer
Loading miniMdns
Publishing mdns records for aaron-desktop._cvspserver._tcp
Segmentation fault

Anyway, I'd really appreciate any help. I haven't even used CVS in years, and apt seems to believe that nothing currently depends on it, so I'm really irritated that it won't go away, besides the fact that it seems to be preventing me from installing KDE.
