cannot receive email from mail server installed with postfix


Dear All,

I have installed sendmail 8.12.8-5.90 in my home PC
and it can send and receive email. But I find that
I cannot receive emails from a certain hosts with attachments.
Without attachment, it's okay.

For example, I tried to send a email with a attachement from
one of the trouble server and after a few hours, it bounce back
a mail to me as follows


This is the Postfix program at host emethist.hknet.com.

I'm sorry to have to inform you that the message returned
below could not be delivered to one or more destinations.

For further assistance, please send mail to <postmaster>

If you do so, please include this problem report. You can
delete your own text from the message returned below.

Can any one help me to resolve this problem? I really
worry I have lost lots of emails..... need to resolve this
immediately.. Thank you.

Take a look at your maillog to see if there are any more clues.

What is your network setup? Do you go through any software firewalls proxy servers or anything? Is it a natted address.

My LInux system is RH9. But there should have no proxy enabled.
iptables have been disabled before... but seems no improvement to this problem. Actually, I can receive some emails with attachement from other hosts....
