Cannot middle click paste from Aterm to Opera. Can from other terminals????!

Hi All,

As above, for some bizarre reason I cannot middle click paste from Aterm to Opera. I can however middle click paste from Aterm to Firefox, and paste from a different terminal (not Aterm) into Opera. (Distro is Slackware 13.1, Dell laptop).

If anyone has the slightest idea why this is happening please let me know.

Many thanks,
Ben

It's possible that clicking both the left and right mouse buttons at the same time will complete the paste for aterm >> opera.

Thanks for the suggestion but no joy. I've changed one or two compile options for Aterm but to no avail. Switched over to xterm instead.

Hey thanks - great link but alas no joy. The bizarre thing is I can paste from anything except aterm... Weird. And I can paste from aterm into other apps, just not Ooera, lol

That is perplexing. I'm disappointed that link didn't help.

I can't replicate this myself, middle click pasting to and from Opera and aterm works for me. Can you reproduce with a clean profile. You can start a testing profile with the '-pd' switch in Opera, e.g.
Code:
$ opera -pd /tmp/opera_test_profile &
After you are finished testing you can delete '/tmp/opera_test_profile'.

If you can reproduce there can you give me the full output of the following two commands:
Code:
aterm --version
Code:
opera --full-version
