Cannot load .so file from java library path

I'm trying to get the avetana bluetooth package running on Eclipse in FC4.

Got a funny problem here. The run time arguement has been specified to load a .so file during run. I've made sure that the .so file exists in the folder. But when I run the program, I get an error:

Exception in thread "main" java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: /root/workspace/sources/build/ cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

What does this mean?

I've got the JBluez package running in Eclipse and this also requires the loading of a .so file which works fine.

Any idea on whats happening with the 'cannot open shared object'?What does it mean?

If it is native code, try putting it in /usr/java/jdk1.5.0_07/jre/lib/i386/client/ or the equivalent on your system.
