Cannot find Linux Filezilla in any of my comp. files. I dowloaded it twice.

I went to Filezilla and clicked the download button under Linux. It ammediatley said it was downloaded. I have a windows XP. I cannot find where it is in my computer. I've even searched all files and folders and it doesn't come up. I then tried to download again..same thing. Does any one have any idea as to where it went and how I can open the file?

No, I'm not kidding. I'm trying to get a company set up with a website and was told to download filezilla and to choose linux. Ummm...did I do something wrong? If so please help.

If you want to use it in XP, you need to use the windows version.
BTW did you used the search option in XP?

Thanks I will let the other individual know to download it using the windows option for XP. This helps.

as i recall one of the default places a file MIGHT DL to is
c:\WINDOWS\temp , or c:\Documents an settings/ "user name" / temp .
but it might BE ANY tmp folder that is set up
from the windows cmd.exe run " echo $TMP " or echo $TEMP "

for instance i have a MinGW tmp set up that windows also uses c/GnuWin32/MinGW/tmp

check your system settings to find the two or 3 or 4 tmp files in the system
