cannot find libgnomeprint libs

Alright,

so I try to install GtkSourceView and during configure step I get this error message:

checking for gtk+-2.0 >= 2.3.0
libxml-2.0 >= 2.5.0
libgnomeprint-2.2 >= 2.2.0... Package libgnomeprint-2.2 was not found in the pkg-config search path.
Perhaps you should add the directory containing `libgnomeprint-2.2.pc'
to the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable
No package 'libgnomeprint-2.2' found

configure: error: Library requirements (gtk+-2.0 >= 2.3.0
libxml-2.0 >= 2.5.0
libgnomeprint-2.2 >= 2.2.0) not met; consider adjusting the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable if your libraries are in a nonstandard prefix so pkg-config can find them.

I have libgnomeprint22-2.6 installed (from the rpms that come with fedora CDs). Is that enough? I point the path to the lib directory that contains these libgnome libs (in PKG_CONFIG_PATH) but it still not enough. I cannot find libgnomeprint-2.2.pc anywhere. What should I do? Should I install libgnomeprint-2.2? (I cannot find rpm for that either).

Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated!
