Cannot connect to sshd on Fedora 3.

I can't get the sshd to work on Fedora 3. During installation, it asked if I wanted to enable the firewall and I did not. I can't get in to ssh. The sshd service is started. Whenever I try to connect with putty, I get a disconnect error. I can get to the machine for http and ftp just fine. Only having problems with ssh. Any ideas?

Thanks!

What are your errors? Run ssh in verbose mode...

Code:
ssh -vv <address> -l user
Though I don't know if Putty has a verbose option. I havn't really used Putty all that much. If you can log in from another Linux box try the above syntax.

Well, I can't find the option with putty so I'm not sure what to try with that. But I did ssh from the same box to the WAN address and it connected fine. I'm not sure if that's useful or not though. When going from my windows machine across the lan to the linux machine, I can't connect.

Interesting... I can connect to it if I go with the wan ip. I just can't reach it through the lan. I know it's the right IP since I had to forward port 22 to the lan address on the router...
