*SOLVED* Cannot compile net-tools
Im trying to install net-tools 1.60 on a very old PC, with a minimal slackware 8.1 install. Ive since installed all /A, /AP, /D and /F, /K and /N packages.
After configuring, typing 'make' gives "no such file or directory" errors about stdio.h and string.h.
I want net-tools so that i can get my ethernet card talking to my network, unless there is a manual way to do it such as editing configuration files instead?
Thanks.
***EDIT***
Sorted, i didnt install some needed packages from the /L directory is all.
Thanks.
