Unfortunately I don't know the solution to your problem. If you're not attimate(sp!) about compiling everything (its ok if you are, I was when first starting to use Linux, inorder to get a feel of how the system worked), the just run the following command from the command line (as root): "yum install wxGTK"
Incase you didn't know yum is fedora's package management system, it installs/searches/updates/removes the packages that you specify and resolves all the dependencies (libraries and other files that the software needs to work) for you. It make application installation a dream. For more on yum goto:
http://fedora.redhat.com/docs/yum/index.html (i would read all the documentation at this site, its very excellent for beginners).
If you want to compile, don't get discouraged; just keep on looking for the solution, and I'm sure you'll find it. When you do, you will feel great that you solved the problem, and you will be a little closer to understanding how the system works. Finally, when you do find the solution, make sure to post it here so that others who are in the same situation have the answer. Welcome to Linux!
