Cannot boinc to run

I had boinc /seti running then it stopped. I have asked on the setiathome forum, but nothing.

The boinc was going, then I got this message

./boinc: error while loading shared libraries: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

I then tried to install from the repos the latest version. I am using Mageia 5 .
Now I get this message.
/usr/bin/boinc: line 5: /var/log/boinc.log: Permission denied
The versions downloaded are:
 rpm -qa |grep boinc

Last edited by nigelc; 07-20-2015 at 10:22 PM. Reason: later versions of boinc
