Are you able to access the services running on RHServer from your XPsystem?
Can the RHServer ping the XPSystem and viceversa

You are correct ppuru. The systems within the local network can ping each other, and I can access the services throughout the local network.

If you can access the RH server services from XP too, then all fingers point to the XP filters.

Or am I being hasty???

LOL you are not being too hasty

I am really starting to feel the same way about XP, hence why I am setting up this server (to get rid of my existing Windoze server!).

Tonight I am going to try to dig around a little more with the HP system (that is running the XP port forwarding).

I will let you know what I find out tonight.

Well after doing some digging around in my WinXP firewall, it still doesnt work! I tried loading Apache on an XP machine, and it would not forward to that machine either. So at least it is narrowed down to the firewall. Now all I have to do is to figure out what the heck is going on with it!

I can open up the echo ability, and it works great, but it will not do port forwarding. Hmmmm. . .

Any ideas?
