Question Can you transfer files over ssh?

Can you use an ssh connection to get files off a remote machine?

Yes gftp is a solution that can do it. just set the setting on the upper left to ssh2
By default ssh has a "ftp" build in to it. of course it is secure...

man scp
man sftp
you may need to install them.
