can tor bypass content filters like DG?

just a quick question,

can an internal machine using a tor & privoxy combo bypass a content filter like Dans Guardian?

a simple answer:

no

dansguardian and privoxy may be doing some of the same things.

tor, in simple terms, encrypts and routes packets so that it's extremely difficult (some may say impossible, but anonymity/privacy is specifically not guaranteed by tor) to match and/or determine source/destination ips.

it's obviously far more complex, but I hope this answers your question.

cheers,
