can suse automatically sync time with internet?

I have suse 10.0. I run my machine as a dvr using mythtv. Having the clock set right is very important to make my recording times in sync with what is on tv. Is their any way to do this?

Yes, by using ntp you can keep your linux boxs clock in sync. Take a look at:

man ntpd

ntpd uses port 123 so you will need to allow that in your firewall rules. Check out the manual on ntpd and let me know if you have any more questions.
