Question Can someone help with this nagios check?


I migrated a Nagios3 from one server to another, and I'm getting a bunch of email alerts. The Debian 8 server is checking itself. I'm new to Nagios. I did a bunch of searches, and I don't know where to look.

Looks like Nagios is configured to check if the NSCA Daemon is running. This is the daemon that Nagios uses to accept passive checks from hosts.

Ensure that this process is running, or if you're happy your Nagios instance is functional without it then remove the check.
