Thanks for wanting to help! Here are a few questions/problems I have.

1. First, I had to reinstall Wine to get the newer version since it wasn't working. After I installed it I installed Quake3A and later got it working using the Linux port. Since then, though, Wine programs haven't been running. When I click and .exe it ask what program I want to open it with. Should I reinstall again? :P

2. I had a Windows partition but I went onto DOS and wanted to reformat my whole harddrive by doing format c:. It formatted the one partition, and that's it. How do I unpartition it, or make the Linux partition bigger? The Linux install CD doesn't boot.

3. How do I use my webcam on Linux, or through Yahoo!?

Ok... problem #1

instead of using the gui version have you tried using the command mode? what i mean is try doing this...

thats how ive used wine and its been working great.

Problem #2

changing partition size is risky but can be done with a utility... you can find one that comes on the knoppix live cd... its called qtparted. you can also download it here
