can send but not receive email

I'm trying to set up a mail server using postfix, courier-imap, and squirrelmail. I have it so far that I can send emails but not receive them. I tried to send one to myself and I was able to receive that one, but none from outside email addresses. Not sure where to start to try and fix this - any help would be appreciated!

Where to start? Let's try postfix.

Is it running? Post the output of the following commands to see if postfix is running and listening properly on TCP/25.
Code:
pgrep master
netstat -pantu
lsof -i4 -a
Let's check some of postfix's most relevant and foundational parameters. Post the output of the following command.
Code:
postconf myhostname mydomain myorigin mydestination mynetworks mynetworks_style relay_domains relayhost
Now let's send yourself a copy of /etc/fstab in a new email, and see what the logs show us. Please post the output of the tail command (log file entries by Postfix as it tries to deliver the email):
Code:
sendmail -f you@yourdomain.com you@yourdomain.com < /etc/fstab && tail -f /var/log/maillog
Should be pretty easy to figure out where the emails are going once you run the commands.

Thanks for the reply! It is running.

EDIT: Figured out the problem - firewall had port 25 blocked! All is well now.
