Can one dual boot with Linux on a USB External HD


I have WIN98SE on my IBM Aptiva. I am considering getting a Seagate External HD with USB 2 connection. Can I put Linux on the external drive and set it up for a dual boot?

If your BIOS can boot from USB, You should be Okay.


Im not sure howto do it, but Im sure it can be done.
