can not start vmware after upgrading ubuntu to 8.04


after upgrading to ubuntu 8.04 I can not start vmware,nothing in the menu anymore...

thanks for some help

I guess so,i automatic upgraded ubuntu 7.10 to 8.04 and how ,where do I use `vmware-config.pl` I could only find my vmware virtual windows and other virtual system in /var/lib/vmware server...
