Can not open pdf files online-Mozila Firefox 1.0.4

Hi,
I am using Mozilla Firefox 1.0.4.
My OS is Debian Sarge 3.1.
When I try open an pdf document I am not able to do it online. Only when I save it on computer I can read it. But I wish I could open it online.
So I am asking anybody who has similar problem to direct me to change some parameters in my mozilla browser or where ever else and make me able open pdf files online.

Best wishes
