Can not launch acroread 7.0.8 on mandriva 10.1

Hi, anybody can tell me why I can not start acroread 7.0.8 in my
mandriva box? When I type acroread from terminal, it does not show
anything but quit after hard disk flash for a while. No error
message simple quit. I tried to install acroread both via rpm and
tar.gz.

Run "acroread" from a terminal emulator such as konsole and post back any error messages. My guess is that you probably need to install the libstdc++5 package for acroread to work properly.

[logia@sigawell ~]$ acroread
[logia@sigawell ~]$

This is exactly the outcome of launching acroread. You can see
no error message or whatsoever at all! Just nothing....

Try installing libstdc++5 and see if that makes a difference.
