can not get mail to download off the pop3 severs thru kmail or mozilla
 

i am tring to get kmail or mozilla to get my mail from yahoo.co.uk , i created a new email addy to use the program.

i am running mandrake 10.1

can anyone help me?

what's the exact error???

To download your mails from yahoo to your computer you need to modified the options from yahoo website and activate the pop3 access. if you didn't do that could cause the error.
Other reason could be that you've wrote wrong the server name( in my case is: pop.mail.yahoo.com.ar) you need to get it from yahoo web page.

I'm using thunderbird from mozilla and i don't have any problem. If you want to download any of these programs you can do a google search.
