can mount samba shares, but not browse them

Hi all,

I have the following situation. I have a mail/file server that also acts as router and firewall. I also have two workstations running both WinXP and Suse 9.1.
Those workstations also have samba running.
What I'm trying to do is to browse the network from Konqueror. But everytime I do this I get the message "Unable to find any workgroups in your local network." The strange thing is that I can mount samba shares from the command line by using:
smbmount //server/share /home/me/mount

I also installed LinNeighborhood and I can connect to all the machines in the network.

I have made sure that on all 3 machines the workgroup is set the same.

Does anybody know what's going on here?
