Can I un-comment out "# CONFIG_BLK_DEV_IDEDISK_WD is not set" and tack on =y ?

this is in my config-2.4.20-27.9.

Also can I tell it what speed my ide hdd is? it says that it does not know what it is so it is assuming 33. It said to change this with idebus=xx but I'm not sure what that will do and I couldn't find any man files for it. Is there a way to make it 100 at the very beginning of bootup so it loads everything faster?

what about "# CONFIG_HPT34X_AUTODMA is not set"?

Thanks a ton.
