Can I safte remove /lib/modules/2.6.10-1.741_FC3?

I am a beginner on Linux. I currently have FC3 installed inside Microsoft Virtual PC 2004, and I found many files related to the kernel. I am not going to do any programming about kernel, so I think I don't wnat those files.

So my question is can I safely delete those files without causing system-wide problems?

Thanks.

nope, you need them. they are not for programming, they are your device drivers. run "lsmod" and everything listed in that listed will be resident in /lib/modules.....
