In windows I use Windows Media Player 6.4 and I can open as many copies as I need and play multiple videos simultaneously. I'm looking for a light-weight replacement on linux. mplayer is much too heavy, its like a full blown dvd program and you can only watch one video at a time I believe. I'm looking for something more like kaboodle, but that didn't seem to work with more than one copy open. It would also be great if it could play .wmv files.
You can watch multiple videos with Mplayer. At least I can. Are you using the gui to watch or the command line? Using the command line you can watch multiple videos simultaneously. Now if you mean one after another, then, well, yes you can do that too. It is quite easy. Use the command line! Good luck.
