Can i make my logitech mx510 profesional gaming mouse fully functional? how?

Ummm... I'm wondering if it's possible to get this Logitech MX510 Professional Gaming mouse fully functional on the SuSE o/s. Can you please explain in brief detail how this can be done. (how do i make all the buttons work and how do i make it as prescise as it is on the Microsoft Windows XP operating system?)
