Can I install PostgreSQL on the same machine as mySQL?

Hello

I run the server for my comany and we have a mySQL database on there which we use for a heap of things.

I have been reading up on Opengroupware and it only runs on PostgreSQL. Can I install PostgreSQL and run it even if I have mySQL running as well? If so, what will I need to configure differently?

Yes, you can run both on the same machine, no special configuration is required.

Yes.
mysql uses 3306 by default
postgresql uses 5432 by default.
