Hi there,
I want to use suse linux 9.2 professional.
But the softwares that are installed on it are old and Also I have opensuse 10.0.
I want to install Kdevelope, Openoffice.org and gimp from the opensuse installation cd.
Also can I install the new versions of KDE and Gnome on it?
Can I do it?
If yes , how?
Thanks in advance.

I'd imagine it's possible, but you might have a lot of dependencies that would have to install with it. I think the package manager for Suse is called yast, that would be way to upgrade gnome and KDE. Since I haven't used Suse myself I'm wondering why not just use 10.0? I'd imagine you'll probably need to update most things to what's in that anyway.
