can i install *.dep files on Fedora ?

Is there a way to install *.deb files under Fedora? Some software that I can get maybe?

And can I tell apt/synaptic to use deb repositories then?

look at the table on this page

you will see packages are used on which distros ...

but if it was really that necessary, you could use Alien to convert the package into something you can use ....

in any case, i highly doubt that whatever deb file it is you want to install only comes in that format ... you can just go download the rpm or tarball ....

what i want to do is access the 12000 files in debian apt-get repositories. My Fedora sites don't even have 4000.
