Can I get Mozilla to install RPMs?

Hi,

I'm wondering if I can get Mozilla to install RPMs for me. What I tried to do was associate an RPM mime-type with the rpm program. But it didn't work. Is there anyway to pass the argument "-U mypackage.rpm" to the rpm program from mozilla?

i don't think this is exactly what you're looking for, but if you right click on the rpm link and can get the save dialog with the name of the file being rpm (some sites show a link as an rpm file but it's actually some kind of web page like a php page), you may be able to right click on it and get an open with option where you can specify which package manager your desktop environment or window manager uses.
