Can I do this with Getmail?

I'm currently setting up a mailing list server. The thing is, I don't want to have it out on the internet. What I was thinking about doing is setting up a POP mailbox on a domain I have access to and retrieving messages with Getmail and having, say, the mailbox "list-subscribe@example.com" be forwarded to "list-subscribe@localhost", which is going to be a pipe to program alias, without setting up a destination for each one. Can I do this with Getmail? Do you recommend another solution? Thanks, and if you need more information, just ask.

EDIT: I'm using the Postfix mail server.
