can I configure pine to get email from hotmail?


And how would I do it? thanks

you can't, hotmail is a bastard. and uses it's own unique protocol, not pop3 or imap.

there are some programs such as gotmail (i think) which have managed to allow connections to fetchmail in order to download mail from it though.

now would be a good time to ditch M$ webmail and use a decent provider instead.

use gotmail, thats what i use , works great, search google

actually, if you search freshmeat, there a bunch of projects out there... and they update their code as MS changes its.

The better solution would be to get a decent provider.
