can I build a vm server with Self-support Subscription license?

Hi ,

I was planning to buy Self-support Subscription license to have a personal working copy of RHEL for $49. The purpose is for testing only so I need to install and experiment with the softwares. does this license entitle me to do that?

Thanks!!

Not sure what you are trying to experiment, Instead paying for subscription/license you can use Centos.

I have sotwares that specifically require RHEL. My requirement is only to have yum enabled. I was reading that mrepo can be an alternative without having to pay for subscription. However, I am not able to find clear instructions on how to create one. Currently the yum is not working so can you please help me by providing the steps to install and configure mrepo or any other alternative.

Thanks!!
