Can ffmpeg be paused and resume during screen capturing?

Hi,

I use ffmpeg to do screen capturing. But there are times when I want to pause the recording and then resume. Can ffmpeg do this?

Thanks

Try
Code:
pkill -STOP -f ffmpeg
to "pause" and
Code:
pkill -CONT -f ffmpeg
to resume?

*Not sure if it works, you just test it.

I usually hit 'q' to quit. I was hoping there was a key to toggle pause and resume. It was a shot in the dark so I asked.

Thanks unSpawn.
