can't use apmd...


when use "shutdown -h" on my server( installed with Debian), It prints:
apm: BIOS not found.
And I must shutdown by hand.
So how could I do?

Is APM turned on in your bios?

I can't find the item on BIOS Setting.So maybe it doesn't support it....

How old is your motherboard or the computer? If its not to old it should have it in there.

PhoenixBIOS
V1.06
2003/08/29
ROMSIZE:1024kB.
but still can't find ....
