I need to reinstall Certance TapeWare software. I installed once and just needed to change some settings but upon attempting to reinstall I get "Installer exited with error 11520(45)"

Certance says this is not their error message. They also can't seem to tell me what directories files were written to. I deleted the file the software installed to (/usr/local/tapeware) but that didn't help and was probably a mistake.

I just need to get this tape drive working. I'm even willing to completely bypass this software and use what looks like a System Backup utlility that came with this Suse Enterprise 9 distro if someone can walk me through that. Maybe I would need to install drivers or something?

tapeware is made by www.tapeware.com (yosemite tech) not certance.

you can download the latest service pack from there and install over the top of your current install.

the default install directory is /usr/local/tapeware

Thank you, I will try that as soon as I get my server to boot again. I couldn't wait to solve my first problem before creating a whole new and much bigger one! I just posted a new ? about it, i would link to it but I'm not allowed to include links yet. I appreciate your help.
