can't play dvd in Kaffeine ao

I can't play my dvds in Kaffeine and other players. I have searched the forum, but have this far only come across a reference to libdvdcss, but nothing on where to find it (it doesn't seem to be on my installation media) or how to install it.

I have tried running kaffeine from the shell and these are the messages I got:

as user:

and as user in the GUI:

The source cannot be read.
Maybe you don't have the rights to do this, or the source contains no data (eg. no disc in the drive). (Error reading from DVD).

I have checked the disc in konqueror and there are files all over it.

I've also tried mplayer, but got this result:

No stream found to handle url dvd://1

Any ideas?

I get libdvdcss2 from Debian multimedia:

http://debian-multimedia.org/

Briefly,you need to add an entry in /etc/apt/sources.list,something like this:

deb http://www.debian-multimedia.org testing main

Then do an aptitude update.
You'll then get a warning message,to stop this you need the security 'keyring'.
Install the keyring with,aptitude install debian-mutimedia-keyring.
After installing the keyring there should be no more errors when using the update command.

You can then install the packages you'll need for watching dvd's:

aptitude install libdvdcss2 libdvdnav4 libdvdread4

Obviously if you run Stable/Lenny change the sources.list entry accordingly.
