Can't install ufw firewall

I've got two computers, I was able to install one ufw firewall, but on the other firewall (following the exact same procedure) I was unable to. What I did was:

Download ufw firewall(Gufw Firewall Configuration) from Ubuntu Software Center

Go to Settings Manager-->Firewall Configuration

Then it asked for my password

I gave the password and with the one computer I simply turned on the firewall

With other I got this error message (see screenshot 090)

I checked in the Synaptic Package Manager (see screenshot 091) and it shows it's installed.

But when I run the status check in the terminal it shows 'inactive.' (meaning, I'm assuming, the file is there but it's not turned on)

I thought maybe it had been installed twice but it wasn't.

I Googled it and they talked about some "bug" but I'm new and it was over my head.

Any ideas? Thanks.

Did you try deleting the file as it asked you to? You can also try deleting
/etc/gufw/gufw.cfg
which may have a problem: gufw will produce another one.

If nothing works, un-install gufw and search for a different firewall tool in the repository.

I figured out what was wrong. I had installed gufw thinking it was the firewall itself. So I uninstalled the gufw and installed the firewall from the terminal and now it's working fine. I really appreciate your help. Thank you.
