Can't install downloaded programs with Synaptic.
Synaptic has found and downloaded the installation files for new programs but everytime I click on apply it says applying changes but doesnt install them. Has anyone come across this before? It won't install I suspect because of a signature key but I can't find anywhere in the synaptic settings to disregard the signature key for the packages I want. I am assuming also that the said packages are downloaded from servers I have added to the apt source file. If anyone can help I would appreciate it. Thanks.
