Can't get symlinks work in samba

Hi all,

I've set these line in [general] section of smb.conf

Code:
follow symlinks = yes
wide links = yes
unix extensions = no
Symlinks isn't working with samba. Do I miss something here ? I can see file name of symlink, but I can't even read it. I've searched forums and these three lines should be enough, but...
Samba version is 3.3.2 and linux is ubuntu 9.04

Samba can be, in my experience, tricky to get set up right. My best success in the past with samba has been achieved via swat. Use the version that came with your version of samba.
