can't find shared folders on VirtualBox Linux

On a Linux system in VirtualBox. where will I find the shared folders? I set up some, but don't know where to look for them.

OK, hope I have understood correctly, that you are looking for the shared dir (folder) in a guest linux system.
I set up a shared dir (on my host system) as /media/disk2/ShareVM.
In a guest linux system, that shared dir appears as /media/disk2/ShareVM.
Have a snoop in /media and see what you can find.
