Can't start X in Mandrake!!


Hello!
I've just installed Mandrake 9.1 on my friend's computer, and we can't start the GUI..
here's what we get:

what's the problim?

error in your config file. it's usually in /etc/X11/XF86config(-4). be sure to have the right driver & settings there. have a look into your XFree86.xx.log in /var/log/ to get a hint what's wrong. read the manpages for XFree and your card.
if you can't get it going send in errormessages fromyour logfiles and a "lspci -vv".
