can't search with Apollon / gift
 

I have installed apollon the openft plugin... and all of that other jazz. I have configured gift and when I run apollon I can see 2.2 thousand users, and 500 thousand someodd files, but when I search I get 0 results. I have my firewall opened for the correct ports... I just can't search. Any thoughts?

Ive never been able to get the gift protocol working well.
i think the problem is its just non popularr enough,

use the FastTrack (kazaa) and the Gnutella Protocol with Apollon,
the results are much much better.

I was under the impression that the OpenFT plugin was for fasttrack (Kazaa). What's strange is that it sees tons of users and files, but searching for celine or sex instantly give me a result of 0. It is taking no time to search, and I am pretty sure that one of the two previously mentioned search queries should have gotten a few hits ;-)

Any thoughts?
