can't run an example in ns2

Hi everyone
I have ns2-2.35 in ubuntu 12.4
i've been trying to add a new protocol.
and i made a copy of aodv and do some necessary things such as adding an agent ,...
but now when i want to run any simple example i face with this error:
no define agent in
set aodvonly [string first "CLONAODV" [$agent info class]]
no class
if {$aodvonly != -1 } {
$agent if-queue [$self set ifq_(0)]
---------------
i define the agent correctly.
what should i do? plz help me.
