can't relay to other domains except LOCALHOST

I've setup a mail server using sendmail and installed AKPOP3d
as my pop server.

I'm ABLE to download mail and send mail BUT only using 'localhost' as my mailserver under pop3 and smtp settings using netscape mail. if I use, let's say abc.com as my pop
and smtp server then I'm able to download email but I can't
send out email. I'll received error message saying that I can't use my smtp server.

I've already included abc.com under the following files :- local-host-names, access and relay-domains.

How do I get my netscape mail to use abc.com as my SMTP server ?

The error states that either the SMTP server is unavailable or is refusing connection.

It works when I put LOCALHOST as the smtp server under mozilla mail. As I said I've already included abc.com inside the 3 files so it should allow relay right ?

have you taken off the 127.0.0.1 localhost restriction from your sendmail.mc or sendmail.cf?

Yup, the problem finally fixed

Comment out the restriction line in sendmail.mc then I use m4 to
rebuild sendmail.cf
