There are numerous existing threads on this topic, which is unrelated to the original subject of this thread. Rather than to shove instructions about compiling a kernel into this thread, I'd recommend doing a Search on those existing threads. (Kernel recompilation is not hard, although the very first time it may seem a bit confusing) Good luck with it -- J.W.
