@marwa88 :
You are supposed to set /home/marwa/ns-allinone-2.31/ns-2.31/<test.tcl> in "Open file from ...".
Just click the button "Open file from ...", and select.
Example : See the attached image.

yes, this is what i did. When i want to try one of tcl files given by the patch, i skip the two parts used for the creation of the tcl file (phy setting and other simulation setting),and i write like in the attached image.
The interference image appears but the throughput give me the error that i wrote above.

Re #4.
OK, then make a copy of the perl script to /home/marwa/ns-allinone-2.31/ns-2.31/throughput.pl,
or whatever path you have set.
I think we have three? different "throughput.pl" available.
Please try out all the "throughput.pl" :
{ throughput.pl, throughput-8.pl, throughput-9.pl, (thr-one.pl) }.
See awk#perl#python__scripts-10.2015.tar.gz https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B7S...ew?usp=sharing
I tryed now to use other throughput but always the same problem.
What i notice is:
when i click interference or throughput in the end of the curve there are simulation settings.
Those setting dont change whatever the file that i use.
For example when i use 0-test4maccon.tcl file, simulation setting are AODV (routing rotocol) , maccon (mac protocol) and 3 channels. Whereas, in my case the setting that appear in the end of the image are always the same ( AODV, 802_11 and 1 channel).
please see attachement to understand me more(in this case i use 0-test4maccon.tcl).
