Question Can't load the nvram module

I'm trying to get nvram-wakeup working ( it's a program to set the wake up time in the bios) anyway, to do it I need to load the nvram module, but I can't figure out how to do it. I added nvram to the /etc/modules file and I tried:
root@jared-desktop:~# modprobe install nvram
FATAL: Module install not found.
Looks like I don't have it on my computer. Is there some way to install it? I'm running Ubuntu.

Thanks for your help, Jared

to load the module, just

Code:
modprobe nvram
your command is telling your system to load the 'install' module, not 'nvram'
