Can't load any desktop manager
Hello,
I just recently did another apt-get upgrade on my debian machine. After rebooting, it seemed that everything was working fine, until I tried login my X. I am using WDM as my window manager. The login screen is there and WDM is running. But when I login using my correct username and password, the screen blinks and I am at the beginning again. I have tried choosing several desktop managers at the login screen, for example; pekwm, twm and fluxbox, but nothing seems to work. It seems I am stuck at the login screen. I have also tried using XDM, but keep getting the same issue.
This is the last part of my Xorg.0.log file:
(**) NV(0): DPMS enabled
(==) RandR enabled
(II) Configured Mouse: ps2EnableDataReporting: succeeded
Could not init font path element /var/lib/defoma/x-ttcidfont-conf.d/dirs/TrueType, removing from list!
Could not init font path element /usr/share/fonts/X11/TTF/, removing from list!
Could not init font path element /usr/share/fonts/X11/OTF, removing from list!
Could not init font path element /usr/share/fonts/X11/CID/, removing from list!
Even after removing those lines from the xorg.conf file I keep having this issue. Really don't know where to look for this. Help would be really appreciated. Thanks in advance.
